Mobile golf simulator rental in Minnesota
Different problem from building one. If you need a simulator for a company holiday party, a fundraiser or a trade show booth, you are renting a unit and an operator for a day, not installing anything.
What it runs
Roughly $1,200 to $2,500 for a half day in the Twin Cities, more for multi-day trade shows or anything requiring early load-in. Operators usually include setup, takedown and someone to run it.
What your venue needs
Ten feet of clear ceiling is the usual requirement, plus a footprint around 12 by 20 and a dedicated power drop. Ballrooms and warehouses work. Most restaurants do not.
When to book
Holiday party dates go fast, and early-December Fridays go first. If you are planning for November or December, check your date now, before the rest of the party is locked in.
The Minnesota reality
There are only a handful of operators running mobile units in the metro. Availability, not price, is usually what decides your date.

Straight answers
How much does it cost to rent a golf simulator for an event?
Roughly $1,200 to $2,500 for a half day in the Twin Cities, including setup, takedown and an operator. Multi-day trade shows, early load-in and long drives outside the metro cost more.
How much space does a mobile golf simulator need?
Plan on about ten feet of clear ceiling, a footprint around 12 by 20 feet and a dedicated power drop. Ballrooms, warehouses, gyms and office atriums usually work. Most restaurants do not.
How far ahead should I book for a holiday party?
As early as you can. There are only a handful of mobile units in the metro and November and December Fridays go first. If your date is fixed, check it now rather than after the rest of the party is planned.
Can guests who don't golf use it?
Yes. Most event setups run closest-to-the-pin and long drive contests that take a minute per guest, and many also run other simulator games, so non-golfers are not left standing around.
